EAA Compliance Scanner — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

EAA Compliance Scanner is a Chrome extension that scans the page you are currently viewing for accessibility issues using axe-core, and maps the results to EU Accessibility Act (EN 301 549) clauses.

What the extension does NOT do

What data does leave your browser

If you activate a Pro license, the license key you enter is sent directly to Lemon Squeezy's License API (api.lemonsqueezy.com) to verify it — this is the only network request the extension makes, and it contains only the license key and a random device identifier, never page content or scan results. Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy governs that data: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.

What's stored locally

Your license status, the customer name returned by Lemon Squeezy when you activate a license (used only to show "Pro — active · [name]" in the extension), your optional company name, and your optional logo (for white-labelled reports) are stored only in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). We do not have access to this data — it never leaves your device except the logo/company name you choose to print into a PDF you export yourself.
